This weekend Fry's had a great sale on...yep, you guessed it - Strawberries! I decided to buy several containers and make freezer jam as I do not have a canner of any sort.
I stopped by two different Fry's stores on my way home and bought several containers.
Then I bought sugar and Sure Gel and went to work. I had made strawberry jam once with my Aunt Ina, but it had been a good five years. I looked at the directions, but it was a lot of sugar so I modified it to be a lower sugar version. Hopefully it turns out okay. We will see!
